The Best Value Competition takes place every year. This is the 9th consecutive year of Israel’s only competition that awards wines up to 79 shekels in price (up to US$20).

I69 wines were submitted ranging from 22 to 79 shekels. The chairmen of the competition were hotelier Haim Spiegel and the lawyer Nachman Cohen Tzedek. The competition was organized by Studio Ben Ami, owned by the famous sommelier and events organizer Avi Ben Ami.

The best performing wineries were Barkan Winery from Hulda, near Rehovot and Dalton Winery from Dalton, near Kerem Ben Zimra in the Upper Galilee. The winners of the gold medals in each category were:
