Adam Montefiore has launched his new website in Hebrew & English:
He has been advancing Israeli wine for over 30 years, including long periods working for both the Golan Heights Winery and Carmel Winery.
He left Carmel after 14 years in 2016 and he resigned as chairman of Montefiore Winery in September 2017. Now he has no involvement with either winery whatsoever.
So he is totally free from conflict of interest to follow his new career in four different fields:
- Israel Wine Experience – He is a partner in the Israel Wine Experience which advances brand Israel. This includes organizing and hosting tutored tastings, winery tours, lectures, wine workshops, education seminars and winemakers diners for Israelis and tourists……anything to educate and advance Israeli wines both in Israel and abroad.
- Jerusalem Post – He remains the wine writer for the Jerusalem Post, a position he has held since 2010 and continues to write for international publications.
- Adam Montefiore Wine Consultancy – He is now a wine consultant, advising local wineries on marketing, export and professional public relations.
- Handcrafted Wines of Israel – He shares in the marketing of a prestige group of small & boutique wineries.
Adam Montefiore has been referred to by some as 'the ambassador of Israeli wines' and the 'English voice of Israeli wines'. We at www.wines-israel.com wish him every success in the future.
