The Israel Export institute recently held a generic tasting of Israe
li wine at the OIV in Paris. The event was hosted by the Embassy of Israel in Paris and organized by The Israel Export Institute. There was attendance by a number of Israel?s finest wineries to show Israel?s best to the French critic and wine buyer. The wineries taking part were Adir, Avidan, Barkan, Binyamina, Carmel, Castel, Ella Valley, Flam, Galil Mountain, Golan Heights, Hevron, Margalit, Recanati, Rimon, Sea Horse, Segal, Teperberg, Tishbi and Yatir.
The Israeli wineries were bolstered by the visit of Israel?s Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Shalom Simhon, who gave his support to the event with his attendance. France is the largest market for Kosher wines in Europe.
