The New York Kosher Wine & Food Experience was recently held in New York. This is the major kosher event of the year, showcasing the wines of Royal Wine Corporation. It is held annually.

Royal Wine is the largest importer of Israeli wine and the leading force advancing Brand Israel in the United States of America. Royal represent some of Israel?s larger wineries such as Carmel Winery, Barkan-Segal, Binyamina and the Gamla brand. They also represent some of Israel?s leading smaller wineries such Yatir Winery and Domaine du Castel.

Carmel Winery and Yatir Winery were represented by Arrnon Geva, international business director, Adam Montefiore, wine development director and Gary Landsman, brand manager for Carmel & Yatir at Royal Wine. Carmel took the opportunity to offer a full range of wines for tasting from Carmel Ridge and Private Collection to Carmel Limited Edition and Kayoumi Single Vineyard wines. There was a first opportunity for the American market to taste the Carmel Mediterranean 2007, newly launched in Israel. Yatir wines were also on offer including the prestigious Yatir Forest.

The hall was packed with wine lovers, connoisseurs, press and customers. Wine critics from the Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine News & New York Times took time to taste Israeli wines.

In the photo, Carmel?s Adam Montefiore and Arnon Geva share a glass of wine with Jacques Capsouto, of Capsouto Fr?res Restaurant in Manhattan. Capsouto is a leading advocate of Israeli wines.
