?Lior Ziv, z?l, fell at the young age of only 19 years old, in April 2003 during an IDF operation in Gaza. He was a photographer in??the department of the IDF spokesperson.

A new limited edition wine has been released in Lior Ziv?s memory. There will be only 1,000 bottles. It is called Lior 2010. It is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot, harvested from vineyards in the Negev highlands. The wine, produced by Kadesh Barnea Winery, was aged for 6 months in oak. It is elegant with good fruit and balancing acidity.

His father David Ziv, was the CEO of Carmel Winery from 2002 to 2005 and began the quality revolution that took place at Israel?s largest winery.
David Ziv is now owner of the small, intimate and very highly regarded wine shop called Vino Cigar, in the Azrielli Center of Tel Aviv. Lior 2010 will be sold exclusively at Vino Cigar and will cost 69 shekels.

There is also an exhibition of Lior Ziv?s photographs in the Community Center of Holon, alongside paintings of his mother, Mimi Ziv. This is open until May 3rd 2013. May his memory be a blessing.
