Some great scores for Israeli wines.

The Dalton Petite Sirah, Shimshon 2012 scored 93 points in the Wine Enthusiast. This equaled the best ever score by an Israeli wine in the Wine Enthusiast, equaling the score achieved by Tabor Adama Merlot last year. Furthermore Dalton's Alma Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre, Galilee 2012 scored 92 points. The Wine Enthusiast is one of America's most important wine magazines.

The Netofa Syrah Mourvedre, Galilee 2012 was selected as one of the top 'Weekday Wines' under £25, scoring 92 points in Decanter. Decanter is the United Kingdom's most important wine magazine.

Dalton Winery was founded in 1995 and it is situated in the Upper Galilee. The winery is owned by the Haruni family. Domaine Netofa was founded in 2006 in the Lower Galilee. It is owned by Pierre Miodownick.

The success of these wines shows the growing reputation of Israeli wines made using Mediterranean varieties.
