The Wine Spectator, the world's most famous wine magazine, has written features on Israel only twice in the last twenty wine spectatoryears. The first was in 1998. The second was roughly ten years later. Now, with their October 15th 2016 issue, they are about to offer the third. However, this time, for the first time ever, the Israel feature will be the cover story. The headline is: 'Surprising quality from an emerging region.' The author of all the articles has been the same Kim Marcus who travelled to Israel each time to research his articles. This year he visited in the spring.

It reflects great credit to Israeli wine to have reached thus far and is another giant step for the image of the Israeli wine industry.
