The annual Israeli wines competition is being held for the 16th consecutive year. The award ceremony took place on Sunday, May 7th, at the Peres Center for Peace in Jaffa.
This year, 289 wines were submitted and tested over four days. The judgment committee consisted of 28 professional – winemakers, sommeliers, journalists and wine experts. Each wine was tasted and graded by a team of 5-6 judges.An additional team assessed the wines that reached the semi-finals to determine the finalists.
