HUGH JOHNSON’S POCKET WINE BOOK 2024 will be published on September 7th.
THE OXFORD COMPANION TO WINE, 5th Edition, by Julia Harding MW, Jancis Robinson MW and Tara Q. Thomas, will be launched on September 13th.
The Pocket Wine Book is the world’s largest selling wine book. It is the nearest one can get to a Michelin Guide to wine. It lists and rates 45 Israeli wineries. The section on Israel is written by wine trade veteran and winery insider turned wine writer, Adam Montefiore, with the assistance of Gal Zohar Dip WEST, sommelier, wine educator, Master of Wine candidate and owner of the W – WSET School in Tel Aviv.
The Oxford Companion carries the most definitive, up to date information on both Israeli wine and Kosher wine. These sections are written by Eran Pick MW, winemaker, CEO of Tzora Vineyards and Israel’s first Master of Wine, along with the aforementioned Adam Montefiore.
