Flam Winery and Tzora Vineyards announce the joint purchase of a winery in the Haut Medoc region of Bordeaux.
Chateau Tour du Haut Moulin, a classified Cru Bourgeois winery, was established in 1870 and its vineyards cover an area of about one hundred dunams.
The winery was purchased from Lionel Poitou, the sixth generation of the founders. Poitou will continue to serve as the as the grower for the winery.

The purchase will bring together the following winemakers: Golan Flam, Eran Pick MW and Dan Sheinman. Vincent Dupuch – a senior consultant in the Bordeaux region, who works with a variety of the best producers in the region – will serve as a consultant to the group.

Over the past few years we have been looking for a winery with vineyards planted in an excellent terroir in Bordeaux, we were looking for a property that would allow us to produce wine that would reflect our passion for this area.” says Eran Pick, winemaker of the Tzora Vineyards. “After a long and instructive journey, we found what we were looking for in Chateau Tour du Haut Moulin. The vineyards are planted on a wonderful terroir, close to the Gironde River. The vineyards and the history of the place, combined with the tradition and experience of the Poitou family – all these create an extraordinary opportunity. We are very excited to start and apply our knowledge and experience in one of the world’s iconic wine regions. We are proud to continue the journey we embarked on alongside a strong family team that shares a common vision.”

Flam Winery was founded in 1998 by the brothers Gilad and Golan Flam, together with their mother Kamelia.
Tzora Vineyards was founded in 1993 by Ronnie James. The winery has been owned by the Hebroni family since 2006.
